Balu pass

Observed at 2100m. 145 cm of snow and about 35 cm of storm snow. Riding was very good up and experienced no signs of instability. The skin track out of Balu is definitely not super filled in some spots but overall the ski out is ok to do. High up the coverage is good and we skied a decent amount of pow. Definitely great conditions for early season. Skied a few laps of Balu and no damage to bases of skis or signs of avalanches.

Snow was pretty well bonded. One small crust layer but snow storm seemed to be bonded well and wasn’t much of a concern.
