PuffD and Hourglass 3

Super quiet day at the pass - like maybe 5-6 cars throughout the day. Good track up Grizzly shoulder where we skied Puff Daddy with nothing of significance to report although prior loose dry widespread debris was observed. Then went up to ski Hourglass 3 which was a bit spicier due to really fast moving sluff. In fact that area probably sluffs naturally a lot and creates ‘spines’. Found that the sluffs create heat and a nice sliding surface so care is required on the way down so as not to get entrained. Our cuts easily went 1.5 - 2.0 based on length. Interesting route finding on the way down of Hourglass 3 to get around the cliffs. Minimal winds today on our uptrack but the flags in the parking lot were getting a good workout.
