Good powder skiing to be had above 2000m. We encountered some touchy windslab on an east facing slope on the initial climb to young’s peak, the slab had some energy and wanted to propagate. A chunk of cornice also collapsed to our left on the summit ridge. Evidence of other large cornice failures in the area. The mousetrap is full of debris and makes the exit down the asulkan more time consuming. Lots of groups skinning up 7 steps and a group skied north terminal.
