Haines Pass Obs

We observed multiple widely propagating natural avalanches in steep terrain. We also remotely triggered a cornice fall from above via a snowmobile with plenty of distance between the sled and the cornice. The cornice dropped onto a small low angle slope and did not trigger a slab. It was very cold and windy today with strong winds overnight as well.
