Climbing in Haffner Creek yesterday, I triggered one storm slab walking above the climbs from one anchor to set another up for top rope. The storm snow failed on the ground (40-50cm) but barely slid (see photo). Cracks propagated 10m to the next disturbed snow.
At the end of the day, another slab failed on steep rocky cliffs where it had built through the day. This was only 10cm deep, and was roughly 5m by 2m. Failure was on the rock.
