Santa delivered light fluffy powder sustained by the cold temperatures this week. Light to moderate south wind while travelling on ridge tops from Anderson cabin over the Big Top on Dec 24. We released a size 1 wind slab and some sluff (snuff?) while entering The Nose run. Little to no wind at lower elevations on Dec 25 and the ski out on Dec 26, higher winds seen in the alpine.
Other notable observations from the week included some small surface hoar forming in sheltered areas. Lots of sunny skies but didn't seem to affect the snow surface due to the temperatures.
