Fresh after the rain

Great to see fresh snow and cooler temps after the big rain event of nov 9th. Snowing below the switch back at noon. No wind. 2cms of fresh then (>= 5 cms by days end) Walked to tower 5 then skins down On fresh over old crusty. Snowed all day with 25 of fresh in t bar land (1200 m's) tot snow 1 m top of boot pack. No whumfs or cracks but there are definitely some glide crack openings on steep slopes between 1st and 2nd knoll roll over. Dropped in just past the boot pack towards deliverance and several turns down had to jump the gap...whole m snow pack gapped to ground for a couple ft. Was a slit about 5 to 10 m's wide amounst the open trees. Several similar openings (not as wide) visable below 2nd knoll roll over in various spots. Don't think they were there before the big rain. Might sneak up on ya. Prayer flags rode super nice with blower fluff.
