Bath Glacier to Hector Lake

Skied up the Bath Glacier past the Scott Duncan hut and down to Hector Lake. The crux of the day was climbing the shoulder of Paget Peak north (photo), surfaces here were firm and the slope is steep. Travel on the glaciers was pleasant with 5-10cm of new snow. We observed spindrift off the East face of Daly and drifting in immediate Lees, but no other signs of instability.
