SS-N-D1-I wind slab released off the SE summit of Ruby sometime after 8 AM this morning as WSW winds increased.

Clouds came in mid day and skies became OVC. Warmed up quickly with a high of 43 @ 11 AM and SW winds picked up as well 20-25 G 40 at ridge top.

SE aspects softened at 11 AM and winds kept surfaces from getting too moist. That only lasted a few hours until surfaces refroze. BTL S aspects did soften this afternoon. Cloud cover and wind kept all other surfaces cool. Thin zipper from yesterday observed ATL on W aspects. Summary: Variable ski conditions with limited warming due to wind and cloud cover.
