more than expected!!

considerably more loading than anticipated. storm really picked up around noon and we started getting sluffing coming down phantom which caused us to turn around. at its peak accumulation on the bench was 2cm/hour. We heard a number of loud sounds that may have been avalanches but with the low visibility couldnt confirm anything. otherwise skiing was good with fresh powder on a supportive crust
