Spring? In Kootenay Pass

A warm day in Kootenay Pass. It warmed up to right around zero in the afternoon. South aspects skied like Spring conditions. Very firm any where the sun wasn't blasting it. Anything with good solar was skiing soft on top of very firm crust. Sheltered aspects (N - E - W) had some snow (0-10cm) on top of a very firm crust. Zero signs of instability in our travels (camels hump, buzz's ridge, etc)
