Mount James Walker

Skied Mt James Walker today. Snow treeline and above abysmal as expected. Ski crampons very helpful in the lower cirque, skis abandoned shortly thereafter in favour of boot crampons. Didn’t feel like we missed much having not dragged the skis up. Upper slopes a mix of soft and hard slabs (mostly the latter). No signs of instability.
