Our AST course did a tour at Harvey Pass and found some great lines. We had good visibility and did not see any signs of recent avalanches, but noted several large cornices had formed at the top of the ridge. We dug a hasty pit just above 1900m on the NE aspect and had no propagation in our extended column test and a rough break in our compression test down 35cm. There was about 15cm of recent snow that was forming wind slab in isolated exposed areas. At noon it was -9 degrees at 2000m with light wind gusting to moderate coming out of the NW.
