Evening Ridge

We travelled up Hummingbird Pass and got onto the north aspect of Evening Ridge to descend the south side. Snow depth on the north side at approx 1800m was 180cm. No significant warming occurred as the forecast suggested may happen with an inversion. On the ride down , SE aspects were better and less crusty than more S aspects
