Toured to point 10,166 in the Twin Creek drainage. Ascended the W ridge and traversed several SW slopes. Noticed some surface cracking on wind kissed SW slopes around 8800 ft. Gained the W ridge around 9,000 ft and noticed evidence of strong SW winds during the last storm. A couple small collapses on 30 degree terrain. Hand pits above 9k revealed the new snow sitting on a weak melt freeze crust from before the last storm cycle. The persistent slab underneath was quite stiff.; 1F+ to P.
