Quick report
Spent 4 nights at Fishhook yurt, with three full days skiing in the area (March 28-30). Conditions were excellent, and we observed no signs of instability except on south aspects during the heat of the day (handful of D1-1.5 wet slides, but nothing surprising). North aspects were stable spring pow across the board. Some sluffing off the cliffs in very steep areas, but that’s to be expected. Overall, we couldn’t have asked for better conditions or stability. Great time to be out and about in the steep world of the Sawtooths!
