Tried to go to the top of Powder Palace. Corn was gone by like 9:30, all mush after that. Had to turn 200 feet from the top (wanted to keep my turnaround time of 11), got lost on the way up, forgot to eat breakfast, fell in the creek twice, and had to skin out Owl Creek since I’m a stupid splitboarder. But it was sunny, the birds were singing, and I wasn’t working so all in all, a magnificent spring tour!
Avalanche
Saw a few loose point releases and every turn triggered a small 5inch wet slab. Kept it low angle though so nothing went far
