Quick report
Went up to the Cobb Ice yesterday (11.19). Able to easily drive to the summer TH but we were walking through snow the entire day. Snow ranged from about ankle deep (in the lower valley) to shin deep (on the N. facing final approach to the ice). Saw significant wind transporting snow off the peaks blowing NW. Graupel was widespread in the morning seen from TH all the way up to 9,500', by the afternoon it had settled or melted out on the solar aspects. A quick dig down to the ground @9,500' on shaded N aspect found SNPX about 30cm with about 5m of rotten facets at the ground.
