Approx. 1/2 mile southeast of the Sugar Bowl boundary off of Mt. Lincoln one skier in our group fell through the snow into a large crack. The crack was located roughly 20 feet back on the ridge line from a small 1-3 foot cornice. The skier fell ~6 feet down through 1 foot of wind affected snow. The skier inside the crack estimated it to be about 10 feet deep and at least 10 feet long. Nobody was injured and the skier was pulled out by others in the group.
