Quick report
We toured Waterhouse Peak during the midday hours. We didn't encounter much wind until we reached the ridgetop near 9,200'. There the NE winds were strong. Very little snow remained available for wind transport at and above treeline. We noted minor amounts of drifting snow in isolated areas. The deepest deposition of wind drifted snow we could find was 1 inch deep. It showed very little in the way of wind slab properties.

NE winds were strong on the ridgetop at 9,200', but much less at mid slope and on the valley floor at Grass Lake.
Snowpack
Near surface faceting is prominent on shaded northly aspects below treeline in this area. Some minor faceting observed around rain crusts in the upper snowpack, but not enough for the crusts to start eroding at this time.
