Quick report
I performed a quick compression test on a northwest facing rollover. I measured the slope angle of the rollover at 44 degrees at 7600'. I found 5 cm of faceted snow on top of a 20cm ice crust, on top of more faceted snow. Below that was an alternating mix of facets and crusts. The ice crust slid on the facets on tap 22, @25cm from the snow surface. The fracture was a resistant planar fracture. Regretted not having time to ski castle as planned, as south facing sun exposed aspects held the most consistent snow
