Quick report
Temperatures became warm early in the day, and we saw our first roller ball on a sunny slope at 1030am. These became more common as the day progressed, and by early afternoon steep and sunny slopes were wet on the surface with early stage drainage runnels. Cold slopes sheltered from the wind held 2ft of powder, but low angle "shaded" aspects were still receiving sunshine and becoming moist on the surface in the afternoon. Near and above treeline windward slopes had a thin rime crust on the surface that prevented wind transport from occurring today. Previously wind loaded test slopes did not show signs of instability.
