Quick report
Skied N, NE, E, and SE aspects between 8,000-10,000'. Observed several small natural cornice failures on N and E aspects, many glide cracks opening up on E slopes below 9,000', as well as one natural glide avalanche on the E slope of Pyramid Peak. W winds up to 20mph kept snow relatively cold on exposed slopes but slopes NE of the Crystal Range softened nicely. Good corn is abundant but so are runnels. The runnels have generally healed faster on S-erly slopes but these S-erly slopes also no longer have much snow. By mid afternoon, the apparent wind had switched out of the N. Height of snow measured at 200cm at the indicated location though it varies greatly with aspect and terrain.
