Quick report
Poor structure has gained strength. Rounding under the hand lens. Rocky areas have the weakest snow and thinner spots may be more sensitive. Very shallow snow still limits travel. We did not see any signs of instability except shallow buried surface hoar under the new 2” of snow had failed on steep North. Surface hoar on the surface also.

Cold and breezy North wind light to moderate with great visibility.
Snowpack
No Propagation on weak layers. Shallow snowpack with some crust and facets that have strengthened/rounded. Poor structure with cold temps may contribute to faceting in the upper snowpack. Early Season obstacles are abundant. Really low snow.
