Quick report

Cracking
isolated

Moderate snow until early afternoon. Snow was falling light in the morning but quickly warming and becoming heavy/wet thru out day. Approx 25-30cm of accumulation above stout ice crust observed at SLD crest. Little to no winds, almost 0, no gusts. No blowing snow. Few signs of instability aside from the wet loose slides on the way out. Isolated cracking at skin track switch backs and test slopes once at/above snow lake. - - large, freshly fallen trees were observed on the source lake out track (snowshoe out track, not typical ski out track) . Very recent when we passed through.

Avalanche

Small (D1) wet loose slides, at least 5 that we saw, observed on rocky cliffs / slabs ca. 3500'-4000' on the source lake approach and below/to the side of the SLD apron
