Hiked/skinned up to Tilly Jane A-frame friday night went beyond to cooper spur shelter on saturday. Some ice and firm snow on the trail on the way up, but a lot dirt. Continuous skinning is doable about a mile shy of the A-frame. A few areas of loose sugar-like snow below treeline on shaded aspects. Above treeline all very firm snow with small sun cups.
