Quick report

Sunny and warm, with totally clear skies and just a whisper of wind. Any snow touched by sun got wet and moist pretty early in the day, and snow in the shade stayed shockingly cold and dry. At the top of Skyline ridge, we actually saw less signs of wind loading than we thought. But that being said, we did kick off a nice sized cornice that propagated 5-10' sideways. We dug a pit and got pretty variable results, which increased our uncertainty. All the results occured on the same layer, about 40cm down on a very thin layer of facets over the 2/13 crusts. Compression tests were CT12, CT27, and CTX, all within a few feet of each other. We also had an ECTP23 and PST 85/100END.
