Kootenay Pass

Day was cloudy, with heavy snow falling and fog at times, visibility was poor most of the day. Lots of wind loading at ridgeline. We saw no signs of any recent avalanche activity. On an important note, the trees are getting snow loaded above 1600m and the snow bombs falling off the trees and the potential for a loaded top breaking off could cause a serious injury, take care out there!!!!!!!
