Quick report

Cracking
isolated

Small, skier triggered wind slab near the summit of Snoqualmie Mountain. Very active wind transport mid-day. Observed blowing snow as low as 5,400’, way down low in the feature and well below ridgeline (6,100’). No naturals observed. Some small cracking along exit (very careful route finding, avoiding anything over 30deg). 2-3mm surface hoar observed on SW aspect, 4,800’, Friendlies zone in an open, but sheltered glade . This was still present while exiting (~14:00) and was not affected by sun/wind today.
