Cracking
specific

Toured Mission Peak and Wenatchee Mountain Despite the warm overnight temperature and cloudy skies, the freeze was hard in the morning. The only consistent snow was on north aspects above 5000'. Snow line around 5000' in the last storm, less than 1 inch accumulation except in wind loaded areas. New snow was not well bonded. Despite the clouds the snow was very gloppy in the afternoon, even on north facing slopes. Occasional cracking in colder, wind loaded areas in the morning. No glide cracks observed, but I did trigger a lot of rollerballs skiing off of Wenatchee Mountain around 2:30 pm.
