Quick report
Followed the summer trail to Annette Lake. Did not use skis until 3500'. Weather was cloudy in the morning but had periods of sun in the early afternoon. We skied a bowl to the west of the lake and found 2-3 cm of mushy snow on a firm ice crust. Exiting the bowl at around 4000', we traversed around the shoulder and triggered a small wind slab avalanche while descending towards the lake. We exited via the summer trail.
Avalanche
Small wet loose debris triggered a D1 wind slab on a convex rollover. Ran 2-3 cm deep, ~10m wide for ~50m on a W aspect at 4000'
