Quick report
Good skiing on sheltered north slopes. Clear skis and calm winds. Observed some surface hoar isolated to sheltered and protected areas. I set out to look for near surface facets, but could not find any in remarkable distribution. I dug just above 8000 feet and did not observe any signs of instability (CTN, ECTX). Faceted forms near buried crusts were rounding.
