Skinned up from the Highway to the top of Red Lake Peak. Skied down from the peak and dropped into the bowl. Noted that there was recent snow on top of a rain crust. Did a small ski cut with no results. First skier dropped and his turn resulted in the face sliding. Dry loose avalanche that carried the skier 160-200 ft. Skier was not hurt and he stayed above the snow. He was not buried and no injuries.
