The day began windy but mostly sunny. We found a few isolated wind loaded test slopes that indicated a shallow instability. Snowpack tests in wind sheltered terrain were unremarkable. By 2pm, cloud cover and wind had increased significantly, with some light snowfall - all three combined reduced visibility and we left earlier than planned.
