Scattered clouds until 9:30, then the flag rolled in. Moderate winds out of the W/SW. Intermittent snow showers throughout the day with 2 cm of accumulation (mostly graupel).
Snowpack
2 cm Rain Crust decreases in thickness above 7200’. This sits above 20-30 cms of new snow. On a west/sw aspect a crust sandwich sits below the 20-30 cms of new snow from the last week. The snowpack under this crust is right side up and the January facets (rounding and still gaining strength) were found 3-4 feet from the surface.

This morning we had a couple hours of good light to observe new avalanches from the warm and wet storm. Numerous(10ish) Natural slab and loose snow avalanches observed from the Norway Yurt. D2-D2.5 and likely involved only new snow. Elevation ranged from 7000’- above 8,000’ and aspects ranged from NE-E-SW.
