Quick report
Today, we drove up the Lost Horse Creek road to the warming hut area to take a look at our meager snowpack. There is minimal snow coverage in the area. The snowpack around the warming hut was 7 to 9 inches deep on average, including 2 inches of new snow that fell last night. Upper elevation north aspects hold the deepest snowpack. However, they still appear thin, with many ground features only partially buried. Except at the highest elevations, south aspects were nearly bare before last night's 2 inches fell.
