Quick report

New snow this week appeared to be bonding well despite some isolated cracking on ridglines. Overall the snowpack seemed stable besides windloaded north facing terrain.

Started at lower gash trailhead with the objective of skiing south facing lines above bear lake. South facing chutes had a very thin sun crust from Sunday with about 4 inches of new snow on top. Saw multiple small avalanches on east and north facing slopes. They all appeared to be naturally triggered from cornice falls including one on the east face of sky pilot that ran fairly far.
