Quick report
Solar input was rapidly consolidating the new snow. As we skinned up and undercut slopes, the storm snow felt notably slabby. Around 8 cm of snow fell overnight atop yesterday’s thin sun crust. We triggered one collapse on a southeast-facing slope near some wind-affected snow. Wind damage along mid-elevation ridgelines wasn’t as severe as expected.
