Thin mid-level cirrus that thickened midday but continually allowed diffuse sunshine. Light SW wind.

Snowpack

Upper elevation north slopes held soft snow including DFs and FCsf, boot pen was ~20 cm. We didn't find any surface hoar.

Wrapping to sunnier slopes, we found breakable crusts. In some areas there were two breakable crusts with a thin layer of faceting, recent snow between. Steep sunny slopes began with hard and icy melt-freeze crusts but softened throughout the day.

Avalanche

None observed.
