Aside from this singular collapse or potential remote trigger, we did not observe signs of instability.

Avalanche

As we traveled along the top of the ridge (approximately 7600’) we heard a large gunshot type sound. While we could not find the avalanche, it seemed we remote triggered an avalanche down the ridge. I assume it would have been a similar aspect to the two previously reported slides (NE).
