Quick report

I found around a foot of snow on shaded slopes along Titus Ridge. Most snow-covered slopes contained a weak layer of crust + facets.

Snowpack

Shaded: I observed ~10-30 cm of snow. A crust was present in the lower 1/3 of the snow on most slopes with associated facets above and below. Soft (F) storm snow since the 15th made up the upper 2/3 of the snowpack. This snow was beginning to weaken, but faceting was much less pronounced than around the crust.

Sunnier: These slopes were still bare or nearly bare to ~9,300'. The snow on these aspects was shallower and contained multiple crusts.
