Snowpack
We dug a pit on a 30 degree east facing aspect at treeline. Depth was approximately 5-6 ft and it showed surprisingly few signs of instability. Aspects that faced south had a light suncrust that softened throughout the day. N aspects still held light and dry snow. We did not observe any whumpfing or collapsing at any point during the day.
