Quick report
No signs of instability, winds were ripping on the ridgelines but not too noticeable elsewhere. Stormy with low visibility.
Avalanche
6300ft, E aspect near Sourdough Gap. It triggered ~10ft above skier #2 after backtracking across a small convex roll on a ~32degree slope. Skier #2 was standing next to some small trees and that stopped the slab from moving more than ~15ft. Propagation was somewhat significant and went about 50ft climbers right and wrapped around the trees to continue downslope and climbers left. D2 with a crown varying from 4ft to 2". (see pic #1 & 2). Slide ran ~100ft downslope into some trees. The weak layer it slid on appeared to be a recent melt/freeze crust I'm guessing from monday/tuesday.
