Summary: At 11:00 AM on March 7, 2024, an observation of avalanche conditions was conducted at an elevation of 6400 feet, with a focus on the North East aspect. Weather Conditions: Blue Bird Snowpack Analysis: The snowpack in the observed area exhibited signs of instability, particularly on the North East aspect. Recent snowfall and wind loading have contributed to the formation of fresh wind slabs on leeward slopes. These wind slabs were observed to be sensitive to human triggers and showed signs of cracking and collapsing underfoot.
