Quick report

Lots of activity out there today. Snow was actively shedding from trees and rocks starting mid morning and continuing through mid-afternoon. All solar aspects had or will have a melt-freeze crust. North aspects held cold soft snow over a stout crust. Skin tracks were slick in places. We were surprised by the thin coverage, even in holy diver there were exposed rocks and creek holes. In some places, solar rocky and scree slopes are basically starting at zero and rebuilding a snow pack. Later in the afternoon while descending SE slopes we were moving small wet loose slides and roller balls.

Avalanche

Debris on n. slope of chair is extensive, including in the exit gulley. We also observed an old glide crack on some cliffs of chair.
