Sky clear, elevation 5700, temp above freezing, east aspect, boot penetration 15 cm. firm crust capping cold low density snow, column test suggested first 15 cm we’re fragile but did not displace, 75 cm to EFC several test in this area suggested a right side up column to the EFC complex, that was more durable than tests from several days previous, but there were still several discontinuities detected.
