Whoomphing in meadow below Source Lake x2. CTM - Sudden Collapse x3 on buried surface hoar down 70cm on 1/10 crust. ECTP x2 on same layer. We could easily ID the crust on the way up to Draft Dodger. Hand shears produced resistant results about 30cms down on one of the multitude of storm layers. Wind on DD ridge was moderate from the E and easily building new slabs with the cold light snow.

Avalanche

On leeward roll we were able to kick off a wind lip to trigger a small wind slab. 8” crown on a NE aspect at 4600’.
