Skied Laps on Maggie’s Trees. All Western Aspects Observed an intra storm layer (suspected rain/snain) up to ~5300ft Column test at 5000ft showed unconsolidated breaking at intra storm crust (25cm down) and sudden collapse at the 1/10 interface (40cm) Large faceted grains observed at the 1/10 in handpits throughout the day Overall the snowpack felt fairly stable with icy firm travel condition in the trees and softer/more reactive snow in clearings
