Observed or old loose sweat in the avalanche shoots that the trail crosses several times. Around 4500 feet when increased 15 to 20 mph to the summit observed wind transported snow in this area. The surface cross is about 1 inch thick and boots supportable. The interface between the crust and the soft Snow beneath was nonreactive.
