Elgood SE Aspect Avalanche

2nd rider down on an isolated open/sparsely treed slope triggered a slab avalanche on what we believe was the Feb 7th crust, ~50cm deep. Rider was able to quickly traverse out from getting caught. Run length was relatively small, but there was potential for injury from impact with trees if she had been caught. Group feels like we were being complacent about the current persistent slab issue in the area, glad we learned a lesson without anyone getting hurt.
